Taste - Virginia Beach's beloved sandwich shop. There are multiple locations for pick up or delivery. Be sure to plan ahead because wait times in the summer can be 1 hour+. We recommend placing your order online by 11am.

Bobo's - The BEST fried chicken!! And you can't miss out on their mac and cheese! You can thank us later.

Prosperity Kitchen - A great bakery if you are looking for breakfast and check on their square slices if visiting for lunch.

Mason's - Great lobster rolls.

Uncle Al's - Hole-in-the-wall hot dog and cheeseburger joint that we love.

Doc Taylor's and Citrus - Our favorite brunch spots with diner vibes.

Commune - Great for brunch.

There are several great restaurants at the Cavalier / Marriott Resort, which is where the Welcome Party is located. Our favorite is Orion's Rooftop: a fun sushi and Asian fusion restaurant on the roof of the Marriott hotel with great views of Virginia Beach. Tulu Seaside Bar and Grill is a festive oceanfront restaurant if you are looking for something causal. Becca's is lovely if you are looking for something a little more upscale. And The Hunt Room is a tavern located by the Cavalier distillery.

The Atlantic on Pacific - Fun seafood spot with small plates great for sharing!

Eat - Coastal American restaurant walkable from many oceanfront hotels.

Chick's Oyster Bar - A Virginia Beach classic. Chick's is a casual seafood restaurant on the water. If you want to eat shrimp at a picnic table on a dock, this is your spot. Be sure to drink a crush, another VB speciality. Note: this is a different (better) restaurant than Chix on the Beach.

Dockside - This is a less crowded version of Chick's just down the street. Another great option for seafood on the water.

The Porch - Another seafood restaurant on the water by the owners of Chick's, but this spot has a slightly nicer vibe.

Quemar - Hip Mexican + Latin American restaurant perfect for dinner or fun cocktails.

Eurasia - A Driggs family favorite. Great American food with lots of variety. If you are still around on Sunday night, stop by for $1 oyster night - we'll probably see you there!

Terrapin - Great farm-to-table restaurant if you are looking for something a little nicer.

Love Song - New spot that has gotten great reviews. If you end up going, report back!
